Context
The project aimed to integrate decentralized identities (DIDs) into an existing Big Data platform while extending enterprise authentication and data workflows with blockchain-based capabilities. It also explored the adoption of post-quantum cryptography through Falcon-512 signatures.
Contribution
I contributed across backend development, identity management, blockchain integration, and solution design, coordinating implementation activities while mentoring a junior developer and collaborating closely with the solution architect.
Technical Scope
- Developed backend services supporting decentralized identity lifecycle and integration.
- Implemented an OpenID Connect provider for Keycloak, enabling users to authenticate using decentralized identities linked to their existing accounts.
- Integrated Apache Superset with blockchain notarization services through Kong API Gateway, extending the platform without modifying the upstream application.
- Developed Solidity smart contracts supporting document notarization and verification workflows.
- Worked with Falcon-512 post-quantum digital signatures as part of the decentralized identity implementation.
- Contributed to the integration of decentralized identity services within the existing Big Data ecosystem.
